Helping Hands

Matthew 25:35-40 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37 "Then the righteous will answer him, 'LORD, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40 "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'

Our Mission at CrossPoint is “To be living proof of a loving God to a watching world” what better way to do that than to help meet the needs of the community. The Helping Hands ministry of CrossPoint ministers to families in need of assistance. We have a strategic partnership with Mountaineer Food Bank and many retail partnerships that allows us to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the needy and be there for the broken. We have monthly community outreach events that gives thousands of pounds of food out for FREE and weekly we distribute food boxes to those in need. We also have a resource packet available for Jefferson and Berkeley counties that contains information for other resources to help meet other needs families may have. If you want to become a part of the TEAM please see a member of our staff to learn how you can be “Living Proof of a loving God to a watching world”
